Indian Ordnance Factories Notified Recruitment to Chargeman Posts 2013

    Indian Ordnance Factories (IOF), Ministry of Defence invited applications from eligible candidates for Recruitment to the Posts of Chargeman, a Non-Gazetted Group ‘B’ post. The candidates eligible for the posts may APPLY ONLINE through www.ofbindia.gov.in on or before 21 September 2013.

    Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in written test. The 3 hour Objective type multiple choice test will be of 200 marks for Technical posts and 150 marks for Non-Technical posts.

    The paper will be either in Hindi or in English, as per candidates’ choice. If no choice is indicated, it will be considered as English.

    There is provision of negative marking -- (-1/4 or -0.25 marks) -- for each wrong answer.

    A provisional list of candidates clearing the written test will be released and they will be required to come to NADP along with all documents in original for verification.

    Examination Centers: Written test will be held at various centers in 14 cities – Ambernath, Aruvankadu (near Ooty), Badmal (Odisha), Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Jabalpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Medak (near Hyderabad), Muradnagar (near Delhi), Nagpur, Pune and Trichy.  

    Application Fees: Non refundable application fees of Rs.100 have to be paid through Bank remittance in favour of ‘Sr. Principal Director, National Academy of Defence Production, Ambajhari’.

    SC / ST / Women / PwD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

    How to Apply: Interested eligible candidate should apply online through the website www.ofb.gov.in till 21 September 2013.

    After successful submission of the online application form, candidates should take its print-out and send it along with original copy of fee payment challan and attested copies of other documents required at the Post Bag address mentioned in the application print-out.

    On receipt, an acknowledgement will be sent through SMS / e-mail.

    All other information / intimations / alerts related to the recruitment process will be sent through SMS / e-mail only.
