Jamia Millia Islamia is all set to hold an international summer between 16 June – 26 July 2013. This is a six week long programme which will be in collaboration with the ministry of tourism.

The program will comprise of two components. For the first four weeks, students would be studying Indian Political Science, Indian History, Indian Sociology and Indian Economics.

The program, will be supplemented by seminars where students will be watching documentaries, films and interact with experts.

The interesting part is that, students will get to learn the beginner’s level Hindi, and also, students can take trips to Agra, Jaipur etc apart from volunteering with Ritanjali, an NGO, which works on community development.

The programme is open to all and universities can nominate their students to participate in the programme.

Admissions are on and there are 70 seats for the programme. The scholarship will cover the entire programme fee for the six-week programme on the basis of applications received by the ISS through its online application process.
