Eligibility Criteria for Teaching and Other Posts
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Professor - Ph.D. in the concerned discipline and minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in university/college and/or experience in research at the University OR An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/ allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.
- Assistant Professor - Good academic record with at least 55% marks at the Master’s Degree level an equivalent degree and cleared NET /SLET/SET or Ph.D
- Associate Professor - Ph.D. Degree in the concerned disciplines and Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks. Minimum of 8 years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University.
- Tutor - A recognized BDS Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent qualification with at least one year experience.
- Research Scientist - Master’s Degree in Mass Communication/Development Communication from a reputed organization with intensive experience in Communication/Media Research involving collection and analysis of field data. Three years of teaching and/or research experience with the latest tools/softwares used for the media research
