JEE Advanced 2014: Admit Cards to be released on 11 May 2014

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Apex Board have notified that the JEE Advanced 2014 admit card/hall tickets are going to be released on 11 May 2014. Those candidates who are appearing for JEE (Advanced) 2014 can collect their admit card or download the admit card from the official website at http://jeeadv.iitkgp.ac.in/.

Online registration for JEE Advanced started on 04 May 2014 at 12 A.M and will be carried off till 5 P.M on 09 May 2014. The exam is scheduled to be held on 25 May 2014.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is one of the common entrance examination conducted for admission in various engineering courses like B.Tech, B.E, B.Arch and B.Planning under the directory of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). JEE apex Board has two stages – JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Once you have cleared off JEE Mains with certain scores, you can appear for JEE (Advanced) examination.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) Exam consists of total 360 marks which includes physics, mathematics and chemistry each of 120 marks. Candidates require scoring 115 marks for General Category, 74 for OBC Category and 53 marks for SC Category and 47 for ST Category to be eligible for JEE Advanced Exam.

The registration process for JEE Advanced Exam is very easy. Students can easily register their names through the online portals or through e-challan mode. The last date of submission through e-challan mode for JEE Advanced 2014 is 12 May 2014. Admit cards will be available in JEE Advanced web portal till 24 May 2014.
