Delhi: IIT-Guwahati and Joint Admission Board 2016 announced the JEE Advanced Result 2016 on Sunday i.e.  12th June 2016. The declaration of JEE Advanced 2016 Result has paved the way ahead for the admission to the premier technical institutions i.e. IITs. Along with making the JEE Advanced Result available to engineering aspirants, All India Ranks have also been issued to successful / qualified candidates, on the basis of which counselling and admission process to IITs will be carried out.

In the JEE Advanced Result 2016 announced on Sunday, Jaipur’s Aman Bansal was declared as the all-India topper with 320 out of 372 marks; he was closely followed by Bhavesh Dhingra (AIR 2) from Yamuna Nagar and his city mate Kunal Goyal (AIR 3), also from Jaipur. Among the female candidates, Riya Singh from Kota emerged topper with AIR of 133. IIT-Bombay has emerged as the best performing zone with 8,810 candidates qualifying in the JEE Advanced 2016.

After the declaration of JEE Advanced 2016, aman Bansal has become the poster boy for engineering aspirants across India. He managed to secure the top spot in the JEE Advanced Result 2016 with 320 out of 372 marks. Talking about his strategy to crack the most crucial engineering entrance exam of the country, Bansal said that he use to prepare for JEE Advanced through a 9-hours rigorous study schedule daily. His parents; father - a public servant working in Public Health Engineering Department and mother – a homemaker, are extremely proud of his achievement. He has also become inspiration for his younger sister. Aman said that starting an innovative venture in education field would be his dream job after completing his higher education.

Bhavesh Dhingra – All India Rank 2 (AIR 2)

Hailing from Haryana’s Yamunanagar,  Bhavesh Dhingra has beaten all odds to secure the second rank in JEE Advanced 2016. Scoring 312 marks out of 372, Bhavesh managed to emerge as the topper of IIT-Roorkee zone. Talking about his success story, Bhavesh Dhingra dedicated his achievement to his parents and teachers. As a word of advice, he urged all engineering aspirants to trust their teachers and put in the hard work required to crack JEE Advanced 2016. Bhavesh’s father is working with a private insurance company and mother is a homemaker. Bhavesh’s two elder sisters are also engineers.

As far as future is concerned, just like Aman, even Bhavesh wishes to join IIT Bombay to pursue engineering and become a good engineer.

City mate of the topper Aman Bansal, Kunal Goyal from Jaipur secured the third rank in JEE Advanced 2016 Results. The similarities among the first and third rankers do not end there. The All India Rank 4 for JEE Advanced 2016 was held by Duggani Jeevithiesh who appeared for the engineering entrance test from IIT Madras zone. He had also topped the OBC-NCL category rank list and is topper for IIT-Madras zone. Son of an engineer and a homemaker from Vijaywada, Jeevithiesh dedicated about 10 hours daily for preparation of JEE Advanced 2016 Exam. Although he hasn’t decided about future course of action with respect to career options, but just like the others he is planning to take up computer science engineering from IIT-Bombay for academic stream. He has also become an inspiration for his younger sister to do well in studies.

Riya Singh from Kota managed to beat the odds in the male dominated list of JEE Advanced Toppers. With an all-India Rank of 133, she managed to secure the girl topper tag for JEE Advanced 2016 Results. Native of Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh, just like the other toppers she also wants to pursue computer science engineering but from IIT Delhi or IIT Kanpur. She had scored 96.2% marks in CBSE Class 12 Results.
