As per students who appeared for JEE Main 2019 on 8th, 9th and 10th April, the overall exam was of moderate level. Physics was the toughest section while the Chemistry was the easiest and mostly questions were picked from CBSE Class 11 and 12 NCERT books. The Mathematics section was moderate but it was a bit time-consuming because of heavy calculations in some questions.

JEE Main 2019 (10 April, Shift 2): Paper Analysis and Students' Feedback
Jagran Josh is collecting feedback from students. Students who took this exam today in the second shift told us that Physics was the most time-consuming section. Some said the questions in the Mathematics section were quite complicated. Most of the questions in the Chemistry section were straight forward. Students who took this exam today in the first shift told us that the difficulty level of most of the question was moderate. Like previous exams (conducted in April month), questions in Chemistry section of today's JEE Main paper were mainly based on NCERT books of Class 11th and 12th. When a team from Jagran Josh tried to talk to a few students coming out of the examination centre after taking their JEE Main 2019 Paper 1, most of them said that the level of today's paper was moderate to difficult.
Question in Chemistry section were again simple and directly taken from NCERT books.
Maths section had a few questions with heavy calculations.

JEE Main 2019 January Session: Analysis and Review of Paper I
As per the feedback of students who appeared for JEE Main Paper 1 on 12 January, the paper was of moderate level in both shifts. The toughest section was Mathematics. The Physics section was of moderate level but lengthy too. The easiest section was Chemistry as expected by students. About the exam:
The second phase of JEE Main 2019 (Paper I, II) will be conducted from April 7 to 12 (except April 11) in two shifts i.e., First Shift (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Second Shift (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). The national testing agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the first session of JEE Main 2019 in the January month. The result for the same has been already declared by NTA in record breaking time. But students were able to check only the normalized score. After the JEE Main April 2019 Exam, the ranks of candidates will be released taking into consideration better of the two NTA Scores of all candidates appeared in Jan 2019 and April 2019 examinations.
