JEE Main Result 2015: Wait is over now as CBSE has declared the JEE Main Results

IIT JEE Main Result 2015: CBSE will declare the Result of JEE Main 2015 on April 27, 2015. The JEE Main Exam result 2015 will carry marks obtained by all engineering aspirants who appeared for JEE Main 2015 on April 4 and April 10-11 in offline and online mode respectively. The JEE Main Results for both offline and online test takers will be declared on the same day.

IIT JEE Main Result 2015: CBSE has declared the Result of JEE Main 2015 on April 27, 2015. The JEE Main Exam result 2015 will carry marks obtained by all engineering aspirants who appeared for JEE Main 2015 on April 4 and April 10-11 in offline and online mode respectively. Both offline and online JEE main 2015 test takers can check JEE Main Result 2015 online.

Further to the JEE Main 2015 result declaration, an All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main 2015 applicants will be declared based on the composite score of JEE Main score and class XII board result marks with a weightage of 60:40 for the two scores.

Candidates now can check their result using their Roll no and Date of Birth. The result’s will be released in 2 parts in the first part they will release the results with score card & in second part the All India Rank which can be checked on 7 July 2015.The Joint Entrance Examination was conducted on 04 April & 10-11 April for engineering aspirants & more than 13 lac’s candidate’s including 316,000 female candidates took part in the examination. Only Top 150,000 candidates on all the qualifying candidates will be allowed to appear for final the JEE Advanced Examination

This year's examination – held in both online and an offline/pen and paper version - had its share of controversy as many parents and coaching centres pointed out errors in the answer keys of the offline exam. It remains to be seen, how the CBSE manages such issues.  

The two-tier IIT JEE (Main) examination was held for the Engineering undergraduate admissions to the NITs and centrally-funded institutes as well as a number of leading private universities and institutes.

Over 13 lakh students had appeared for the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) 2015.

The successful candidates will be eligible to register online for the JEE (Advanced) 2015 from May 2 to 7.

JEE Main 2015 Result Highlights:

  • Around 1,50,000 candidates will be shortlisted from different categories for appearing in JEE Advanced 2015.
  • Registration for JEE Advanced 2015 will be done online in May, 2015.
  • You need to sign in with your JEE Main 2015 Roll Number and password to proceed for the registration process
  • CBSE will also declare the All India Rank list of all JEE Main 2015 applicants for admissions to NITs, IIITs, CFTI/SFTI.
  • Last year, three institutes that offered admission based on JEE Advanced Rank list were –
  • Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Ratapur Chowk, Rae Bareli, UP
  • Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER)
  • Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Thiruvananthapuram

 

The Joint Entrance Exam (Main) for the session 2015, paper based exam was conducted on April 4 whereas, the online exam was held on April 10 and April 11 by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). For the exam conducted in April, the result is expected to be declared on 26 April 2015. More than 13 lakh students had appeared for the exam this year.

This examination is given by students who want to get admission in top engineering colleges in India. JEE Main is one of the most difficult examinations that a student goes through.
