About 9511 teachers would be appointed by the Karnataka Government in the next two months by the January 2016 for primary schools in the state.
In reply to the question of the BJP member Ravisubramanya in the legislative assembly , the law and parliamentary minister TB Jayachandra answered that the recruitment of the teachers are underway and the appointment orders would be started to get issued by the month of January. The recent appointment of teachers in the primary schools would help filling the teacher student gap ratio, which is prevalent throughout the state in its schools.
While answering the question, Jayachandra also said that the government has appointed 15980 guest teachers for the government primary and high schools so far. This has been done in order to avoid the students being affected due to the shortage of teachers in the schools, affecting their overall study.
