    KARTET 2018 exam: KARTET 2018 exam is scheduled on 03rd February 2019. Candidates, who will be appearing in this exam, can download related previous year papers from here. Many experts recommend to practicing the previous year papers of at least last 5 years. With practicing the KARTET previous year papers, you will surely gain the insights on the type and the difficulty level of asked questions.     As per KARTET 2018 latest notification, there will be two papers i.e. Paper-1 and Paper-2. The KARTET 2018 exam will be conducted offline in paper & pen mode. Paper-1 is compulsory for those candidates, who wish to teach for Classes 1-5, whereas Paper-2 is for those, who want to teach for Classes 5-8. A candidate, who desires to teach both the levels, can appear in both exams and qualifying them as per the laid criteria.     Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) 2018 Cutoff Marks

    Karnataka TET (KARTET) 2018 Exam Pattern  

    The offline KARTET exam will have 150 MCQs for 150 marks. Each question will contain four options and only one of them will be correct. Each question will carry 1 mark equally. The time duration for both examinations will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Both papers primarily will be in the English language except the Language section questions. There is no provision for negative marking. To qualify the KARTET 2018 exam, you have to attain 60% of the total marks as mentioned in the KARTET notification. Appeared aspirants can see their results @schooleducation.kar.nic.in. The qualified candidates can download their certificate after few days of results commencement from the KARTET official website. We advise you to keep a printed copy of this qualifying certificate as this certificate will remain valid for the next 7 years.

    The KARTET qualifying certificate does not offer any employment. With KARTET qualifying certificate, you can appear in the further recruitment process conducted by the Karnataka state government. To be a government teacher, you have to go through the following stages-

    1. Firstly, you have to qualify the KARTET exam.
    2. Then, you have to qualify the interview organized by the competent authority.

    After the interview process, a merit list is prepared to shortlist the candidates, who are finally selected to the teaching posts. Now, let us have a glimpse of the KARTET exam pattern-
