Kolkata Police Recruitment 2019: Kolkata Police has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Civic Volunteer under different units. Interested candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 4 February 2019.

Only Women Candidates can apply under the unit of North & North Suburban Division, South Division, Central Division, Port Division, Eastern Suburban Division, South Eastern Division, South Suburban Division, South West Division and East Division. Men/Women candidates can apply for engagement as Civic Volunteers under the unit of Kolkata Mounted Police.

The candidate applying to the post should be a resident of the area under the Kolkata Police jurisdiction and between the age group of 20 to 60 years. The candidate should be at least 8 pass and physically and mentally fit. Candidates applying for Kolkata Mounted Police need to be willing to work with animals and should have experience in the concerned field.

Kolkata Police Recruitment 2019: Last Date Extended up to 22 Dec for 675 Civic Volunteer Posts

Kolkata Police Recruitment 2018-19: Kolkata Police has issued a corrigendum against the Employment Notice No. FRC/Recruit/12/2018 dated 13/12/2018. Government of West Bengal, Home & Hill Affairs Department, and Police Establishment Branch has increased the 62 Posts of Civic Volunteer and extended the last date of application.

As per the corrigendum, the last date of submission of application for Civic Volunteers under different units of Kolkata Police is extended till 22 December 2018.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply to Kolkata Police Civic Volunteer Post in the prescribed format through Offline Mode. There is no other mode to submit application form. Last date for submitting applications in the concerned Divisional/Battalion/Unit office is 22 December 2018.

Selection for Kolkata Police Civic Volunteer Recruitment in different Divisions (except Port Division) of Kolkata Police will be done through the process of interview by the selection committee. You can check eligibility criteria, detailed application process in this article.

Eligibility Criteria for Civic Volunteer

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• 8th class passed
• Should be physically & mentally fit
• He/She should not have any criminal record against him / her in any Police Station
• Candidates applying for Police Housing Estate need to have working experience in Plumbing/Carpentry/ Masonry work.
• Candidates applying for River Traffic Police need to know Swimming. Candidates having working experience as Engine Driver and Serang will be given preference.

Age Limit:

20 to 60 Years

The eligible candidates can collect the Application Form on all days from the concerned offices as mentioned in the table BELOW or may download the application form from the official Website of Kolkata Police (www.kolkatapolice.gov.in) and submit the same at the place of submission mentioned in the table on or before 20 December 2018.

The envelope containing the application should be super scribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CIVIC VOLUNTEER”.
