Konkan Railway Corporation Limited invited applications for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineer and Jr. System Programmer. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 12 August 2014 for Junior Engineer and 8 August 2014 for Jr. System Programmer.

Konkan Railway Corporation (KRC) is a subsidiary of the Indian Railways. The company started its full operations of trains on 26 January 1998. The first passenger train which ran on Konkan railway tracks on 20 March 1993 between Udupi and Mangalore.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Junior Engineer: Diploma in Electronics/Applied Electronics/Power Electronics/Industrial Electronics/Electrical.
• Jr. System Programmer: Technical Diploma in Computer Science/Electronics/Computer Applications with one year working experience in IT field OR BSc/BCA in computer science/ Electronics/Telecomm/Computer Applications.

Age Limit

• Candidate age should be between 18-35 years as on 1 January 2015 for both posts.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, scrutiny of documents as per merit order and medical examination.

• Candidates have to apply in prescribed format which can be downloaded from the Konkan Railway website – www.konkanrailway.com or can be obtained from any of the KRCL Stations and other KRCL Offices at BELAPUR, RATNAGIRI, MADGAON & KARWAR– free of cost.
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect along with 2 self attested passport size photograph and attested copies of all required Certificates / Documents should be submitted to the Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd, Belapur Bhavan, Sec-11, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai-400614 before 12 August 2014 for Junior Engineer and 8 August 2014 for Jr. System Programmer.
• Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of ________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
