LIBA Chennai concluded its placements 2015 with 100% placements

    Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai concluded its placements 2015 with 100% placements. Average salary reached to 80,000 this year. A very striking point is that more than two third of the students have been placed in ITES and BFS.

    There were 50 companies in total which came in to participate in the placement process at Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai. IT/ITES, BFSI and Consulting sectors dominated the placement season 2015 with more number of offers than other sectors. Though other sectors had splendid performance as well.

    2015 batch which passed out recently at LIBA , Chennai had 121 students in total. 2 students opted out from the placement process 2015 at LIBA, Chennai to explore entrepreneurship opportunities and try their hands on their own business plans which is becoming a popular trend now a days. Rest of the students participated with zeal in the placement process.

    Out of the 50 companies which visited the campus this year for the placements 2015, 18 were first time or new recruiters. Rest were repeat recruiters who have taken in candidates before also. The placement season 2015 at LIBA, Chennai saw a rise in average salary from Rs. 8 lakhs per annum in 2014 to Rs. 8.80 lakhs per annum which is quite a raise keeping the mundane job market in mind. Maximum salary at LIBA placements 2015 went up to Rs. 12.25 lakhs and minimum salary was Rs.6.50 Lakhs.
