Librarian of Delhi University commences IT course

    Dinesh Singh, the vice-chancellor of Delhi university introduces Building Mathematics Ability, a foundation course for the teachers. He himself a good mathematician.  However, due to lack of teachers, a librarian of DU has commenced an information technology course which to a group of computer science teachers.

    D.V. Singh, the librarian of Shri Ram College of commerce, delivered introductory lecture on an IT course on 23rd of May, at the start of the three day program. While on the last day of the program, 25 May 2013, he has also commenced a session along with Dr. Shailendra Kumar on his area of interest that is the “Library and Information Resource Centers”.

    The position of librarian in the Delhi University Teachers Association has always been a topic of issue. Though after sixth pay commission, they are treated equally however they are still considered in non teaching staff by college administration. Moreover their age of retirement is also different from others.

    Senior Librarian, D.V. Singh is well-qualified and after this he is called as “academic non-vacation employees of the university and college”.
