{A} Name of the Post: Senior Research Fellow

No of Posts: 1 post

Name of the Project: ICAR Project `Enhancing use efficiency of micronutrients: Noved delivery systems' (SP-211, up to May 2017)

Stipend: Rs. 14000 (fixed) + HRA per month;

Eligibility Conditions

Maximum Age limit: 32 years

 (Maximum age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC candidates & by 5 years for SC / ST and female candidates)

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Agriculture with 2 years experience as JRF.

Experience in Agronomy/Plant Molecular Biology is desirable.

{B} Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow

No of Posts: 3 posts under 2 projects

Name of the Projects: 1 Post under ARI Project 'RNAi for insect control' [NBS-03 (One Post)] up to March 2014;  2 posts under DBT Project 'Developing rapid diagnostics for the detection of Aspergillosis' [SP-213] up to August 2015

Stipend: Rs. 12000 (fixed) + HRA per month;

Eligibility Conditions:

Maximum Age limit: 28 years,

(Maximum age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC candidates & by 5 years for SC / ST and female candidates)

Qualifications: M.Sc. in one of the below mentioned subject and qualified CSIR – UGC / NET.

Subjects in M.Sc. for

(a) NBS-03: Biotechnology / Microbiology &

(b) SP- 213: Biochemistry / Microbiology / Medical Microbiology.

Experience in Molecular Biology is desirable for NBS-03 and Experience in protein purification is desirable for SP-213.

[In case, qualified SRF / JRF are not available, the posts may be filled at lower grade of JRF or as Research Student with M.Sc. degree in the mentioned subjects, on stipend @ Rs. 11000 (fixed) per month.]

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Institute.

Candidates shortlisted, on the basis of qualifications and experience, will be called for interview.

Application Fees: Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 50 is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘ARI, Pune’.
