Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra has commenced the registration for the MAH-CET 2017 from January 21, 2017 onwards. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply on or before February 13, 2017. The announcement of the proposed examination date has been made through the exam vide its notification no. CETCELL/MBA-Notice/2017/44 dated January 19, 2017.
Candidates must visit the “OFFICIAL REGISTRATION PAGE” to register for MAH-CET 2017. The registration fees for the exam is INR 1000/- only and for Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and & Persons with Disability, the registration fees is INR 800/-.
In 2017, MAH CET 2017 is scheduled to take place on March 4 & 5, 2017. Last year, the exam was held on March 12 and 13, 2016 and the application process for the same commenced on February 12, 2016 till February 23, 2016. MAH-CET entrance exam is conducted to grant admission to MBA/MMS/PGDM programme in eminent colleges such as JBIMS Mumbai, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya and more than 400 other top B-schools.
Eligibility Criteria for appearing to MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2017
A candidate must have passed minimum Three-year Duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent
or
Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree to be awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline.
MAH CET Exam Pattern
MAH-CET is conducted in online mode and it is a multiple choices questions (MCQs) based test. Each question carries 5 options and time of 150 minutes is allotted to each candidate to answer 200 questions. The best part of MAH-CET exam is that it carries ‘no negative marking’ for choosing incorrect choices. In addition, the candidates will score one mark for every correct answer.
