Maharashtra State Eligibility Test Take the UGC NET Way

It was noted that the National Eligibility Test (NET ) conducted in the month of June 2012 was for the first time brought out in the objective pattern, following the trend, the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship which is scheduled for 2012 will also be brought forth in the same pattern. It was noted that the National Eligibility Test (NET ) conducted in the month of June 2012 was for the first time brought out in the objective pattern, following the trend, the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship which is scheduled for 2012 will also be brought forth in the same pattern.

The test will comprise of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held in two separate sessions.

Paper-I

The paper will be general in nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily test the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.

Paper-II

This paper will consist of fifty objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry two marks.

Paper-III

This will consist of seventy five objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry two marks.

It is to be noted, that there would be no negative marking made, also the syllabus for all the three papers remain the same.
