Aligarh: Mangalayatan University organized an alumni meet for students who had passed out from the varsity in previous years. The alumni meet was organized as an event to bring together students who have passed out of the university in the years gone by. The event also explored ways in which these alums can positively contribute to the overall development of the university and the higher education infrastructure in the region.
The Mangalayatan University Alumni Meet began with welcome and felicitation of Gurudev Rishi Raj and poetess Khushboo Sharma. They were welcomed to the programme with a bouquet of flowers. Thereafter, the programme saw cultural presentation of music and dance, which set the stage for the alumni meet and greet.

Mangalyaan University Vice Chancellor Prof. KVSM Krishna delivered the keynote address for the event. In his address he noted that the alums of the University are devotees of Goddess Saraswati i.e. Goddess Vidya. The blessings bestowed upon them by Goddess Saraswati in the form of knowledge and learning has helped them achieve success in academic and professional life. He also called upon the alums of Mangalyaan University to continue to work and preserver for the betterment of their future. Additionally, he also congratulated students who have recently earned their degree certificates from the University.

Prior to the address of Vice Chancellor, Prof. VikasKaushik – Dean Academic also addressed the Alumni meet. In his address he said that to cater to the rapidly changing needs of the industrial sector, it is important for the higher education domain to adopt a professional and result oriented approach towards their work. Alumni meet and Placement Infrastructure are two such initiatives of the Mangalyaan University which will help them produce skilled and trained professionals who have high employability quotient. He also termed the alumni meet and the contribution of alums of the university as the pivotal factor in helping the institution bridge the gap between industry and students.
Poetess Khushboo Sharma, who was the chief guest at the Mangalayatan University Alumni Meet, won hearts of the audiences with her poems. The cultural musical programme organised by the University further added a unique flavour to the event. Ruchi-Aashish crooned a duet song while Pulkit won everyone’s heart with a special guitar performance. Diksha, Akshara and Akashsha presented a unique dance performance in the evening. Alums of Mangalayatan University also presented their performances during the event. Nikhil Arvind and Payal Sharma presented a dance performance as part of the event. University Registrar ShivajiSarkar delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was organized by LinaDuwa and AnubhavSoni.
The alumni meet event was also attended by senior management of the Mangalayatan University including Vice Chairman Hemant Goyal, Finance Officer Atul Gupta, Prof. JayantiLal Jain, Administrative Officer Gopal Rajput, Pravin Bhardwaj, Dr. Siddharth Jain, Dr. Rahul Goel, Alisha Chaudhary, Kundan Sharma and Niti Sharma.
