The two years at IIMs will help you balance your hectic academic schedule with curricular and extra-curricular activities. Especially, the first year at IIMs or any other B-school is very exciting, as during this phase everyone is trying to figure out what they want to do during their MBA and even after that during their career. But, with the help of the management ecosystem that is provided to the students at IIMs, they are able to get a glimpse of what to expect in their future. It also helps students to get attuned to the challenges that they might face in their corporate life and and how to deal with them.
Alumni Secretary – Student Council IIM Calcutta The two words that describe Campus Life at IIM Calcutta the best, would be ‘Rigorous’ & ‘Fun’. The first year at IIMs or any other B-school for that matter is the most rigorous time of a students’ life. Students have to work really hard and at times even cut-down on their sleep to meet the academic expectations set by the institute. But, at the same time, there is a ‘fun’ aspect to this rigorous learning process, as we get to interact with seniors and get tips from them to manage the hectic schedule and the stress. Coming to the student life at IIM Calcutta, there is a lot of hustle and bustle on the campus among the students. Students need to attend 3 – 4 classes and attend a lot of seminars.
