Ministry of External Affairs holds Logo Designing Competition for trade mission

Young artistic hands get opportunity to promote trade in India and its states and union territories with Logo Designing Competition held by Ministry of External Affairs for State Division. Individuals and groups are invited for this competition. Applicants will get the opportunity to get featured in MEA website and with his or her talent will call out to the world for tourism, cultural outreach and trade for India.

Last date to submit applications is July 01, 2017. To check the eligibility and application procedures follow the proceedings:

Eligibility criteria:

The competition is open. Anyone of any age group, from any state of domicile, and occupation is eligible to apply. Entries can be submitted by individuals as well as groups.

Selection criteria:

All the entries will be evaluated by the jury panel.

Scholarship reward:

The winner will be awarded with INR 20,000 and his or her work will be used by the Government of India wherever they find it relevant.

How to apply:

Entries are to be made online. The expected format is JPG, PNG, or PDF only. The file must not have any work from Illustrator or import from the same. All the fonts should be converted to outlines.

Technical Parameter:

• The designed logo should be at least 2 inches long along the smallest side.
• The resolution of the file should be 300 pixels per inch at 100% size.
• File should not be pixilated or bit mapped when viewed on screen at 100%.


States Division was created in the Ministry of External Affairs in October 2014 with the aim of achieving effective coordination with States and Union Territories in furtherance of their efforts to promote exports, tourism and attract more overseas investment and expertise. The objective of the Division is facilitation of efforts between our Mission/Post(s) and Governments of States/Union Territories as well as foreign diplomatic and trade missions in India, for all round development of States.
