Mody University is conducting its first literary festival 'RHETORICA' from September 12- September 14, 2014 under the expert guidance of Dr. Vishwanath Prasad, President Mody University Of Science & Technology. Born with the zeal to cultivate problem solving abilities among our youth, Rhetorica seeks to determine alternative solutions for predicaments that plague our society. It is a colloquium for scrutinising theories, convictions, ideas and philosophies.Rhetorica will bring together a plethora of public speaking events like Model United Nations Conference (MUN), conventional debates, JAMs and Talk sessions among many others.Rhetorica seeks to indulge in intense and passionate debates to provide all participants peaceful means of conflict resolution.
Over 200 students from various universities all around the world like University of California & Los Angeles(UCLA), Delhi University & BIT Mesra will be a part of Rhetorica. ChavviRajawat, India’s first MBASarpanch will be among the many distinguished personalities visiting the campus to deliver a talk session.Rhetorica envisions providing a forum for public discourse that acuminates essential skill sets like oratory, confidence, brainstorming, spontaneity, lobbying and diplomatic competence among the youth of our nation. Mody University aims to bring together academicians, students, MUN-ers and people from all walks of life to experience stimulating, brazen and thought provoking discussions by eminent personalities who will grace the occasion. Rhetorica is founded by ShubhiMathur who is also serving as the first President & Secretary General of the literary festival.
