In order to improve language skills of students and provide latest education technology by providing student-centered classrooms, the British Council has launched a one of its kind of learning course named myEnglish in Pune. The comprehensive course would be available in six levels during the period of eight weeks training module.
According to the statement issued by British Council, it said that, “myEnglish would maximize the learning while providing students with convenience and flexibility. Students would at first attend face-to-face sessions for group discussions and would undergo speaking practice and giving presentations.”
After the first phase the students would have access to world-class materials of British Council which would include teacher guidance for various segments like vocabulary, listening practice and grammar. Apart from these the teacher and student would meet regularly in an online ‘virtual classroom’. This would enable the student to attend classes from anywhere of their comfort by simply logging on to the website or provided platform by British Council.
The focus of the course would be on basic elements like language skills, communication necessary for real life contexts, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and self-study skills. The initiative scores high on its teachers-students interaction and feedback mechanism that provides it a stronger base to rely on.
