Nagaland Board (NBSE) has announced the much awaited 10th (HSLC) result today ie. 30 April 2015! Bringing much relief to the anticipation of large number of examinees, the board is soon going to announce the result, officially, at its institutional website http://www.nbsenagaland.com/. Candidates can also check their result at www.jagranjosh.com
NBSE Class 10th (HSLC) examination was held on 11 February 2015 till 24 February 2015. The examination was held in a single shift (09.00 am-12 noon). NBSE witnessed a good number of examinees this year.
Going along with the trend of declaring the result after 2-3 months of completion of the examination, the board is pacing up the scrutinisation procedure for declaring the result. Candidates expecting the result are required to keep their roll number/ registration number and registered date of birth in hand.
NBSE or the Nagaland Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education conducts NBSE HSLC exam every year. The board was set up through an Act by the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and received the Governor’s assent on 15 November 1973. With a view to provide quality education and top notch educational facility to the students of the State, the board has been able to emerge with its own identity through a series of workshops, study tours and seminars.
The board inculcated its new syllabus on 12 April 1979 and text books were written and used as per the newly framed syllabus 1981 onwards. The board held its first High School Leaving Certificate Examination at 6 (six) centres in March 1975. The starting year witnessed a total of 2008 candidates appearing for the examination.
The Board is composed of ex-officio members, members nominated by the Government and co-opted members and the jurisdiction is the State of Nagaland.
The previous year, 21,678 students had appeared for the examination and the result was declared on 30 April 2014.
