On Friday, the National Entrepreneurship Challenge (NEC) has been introduced by the IIT-Bombay entrepreneurship. Developed to promote entrepreneurship among all the Indian campuses and to make people understand that bringing up innovative ideas is not a tough thing. It is the first pan-India competition commencing by E-Cell.
This challenge will helps to direct the participating to set up their individual E-cell. It will involve college of all over the India.
The colleges have to complete around 40 series task that broadly classified in Awareness: Generating awareness about entrepreneurship that will involve assignment such as , debate on job versus entrepreneurship, session on basics of entrepreneurship, India versus silicon valley, college survey etc.
The idea generation topic will consist tasks such as proposing a revenue model, recognizing problems in your ecosystem, solving the problem, and conduct what an idea sirji (the idea generation event) B-plan.
The other category is Club Activities that will include designing a logo, getting your entrepreneurship and business club registered, performing speaker sessions, offline competitions etc. Stand up for society, another category will contain environmental conservation, where students have to commence tasks on conservation of social issues, resources, getting up a social cause and working for it.
Complete photo, documents and reports on every topic should be submitted by the Participating colleges. It will be the national level inter college competition with prizes value 2 lakh. The E-cell supposes to have 500 plus participating colleges. For registering colleges have to take permission of their Directors.
