    National Research Centre for Citrus invites applications for Walk – in – Interveiw under the “Technology Mission on Citrus for Vidarbha, Nagpur”. The recruitment of the energetic and eligible candidates for the post of “Technical Assistant” against three different Disciplines of Horticulture, Agril. Extension and Virology for a particular duration up to March, 2014 or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier. The details of the post mentioned below. The mission of the National Research Centre for Citrus is to increase overall citrus production and to increase per hectare productivity with intervention of innovative and high-tech citriculture in the country.

    Details of Posts

    Name of  Post : “Technical Assistant”

    No. of Posts : 05 (Five) in different disciplines [03 Posts for Horticulture, 01 Post for Agril. Extension and 01 Post for Virology].

    Essential Qualifications 

    As per discipline wise as given below :   

    For Horticulture:

    The Candidate must posses a Bacholar Degree B. Sc. in Horticulture/ Agril. from recognized University.

    Desirable : M. Sc (Agril.) in discipline of Horticulture, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Soil Science.  With field experience of working of 5 Years shall also be eligible and computer knowledge. 

    For Agril. Extension :

    The Candidate must posses a Bacholar Degree B. Sc. in Agril. from recognized University.

    Desirable : M.Sc. (Agri.) in Agril. Extension. With field experience of working of 5 Years shall also be eligible and computer knowledge.

    For Virology :

    The Candidate must posses a Bacholar Degree B. Sc. in Agril. from recognized University.

    Desirable : M.Sc. (Agril.) in Plant Pathology with specialization in Virology and Knowledge of Computer.

    Pay Scale/ Salary : Consolidated Remuneration of  Rs. 13,000/- (Thirteen Thousand) Per Month (Fixed).

    Age Limit : The candidte should be upto 50 Years.

    Reservation : All categories of candidates can apply.

    General Instructions :

    • Eligible candidates will present themselves on the specified date for the interview of the particular specialties along with all relevant documents in original together with attested copies of all documents in support of their candidature for the post, one or two passport size photograph and complete bio- data duly filled.

    The candidate must bring following original certificates at the time of  Interview :

    (a) Certificate in support of age (10th certificate).

    (b) Certificate in support of Educational Qualification.

    (c) SC/  ST/ OBC/ PH certificate in the prescribed format of Govt. of India.

    (d) Experience Certificate, if any.

    • The candidate must bring the filled application form as per format.

    • No correspondence or personal inquiries shall be entertained.

    • The candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the advertisement before coming for walk-in-interview.

    Selection Procedure

    The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Interviews, which might be conducted by the administration.
