National Dairy Research Institute, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, in Kalyani invited application for its Diploma in Animal Husbandry and Dairying Programme 2014-15. Interested candidate may send their application in the prescribed format before 19 May 2014.
Course Name: Diploma in Animal Husbandry and Dairying Programme
Course Duration: Diploma course is of 3 years duration
Course location: Eastern Regional Station of National Dairy Research Institute, Kalyani, District Nadia, West Bengal
Candidates having passed their 10th Standard or equivalent examination from recognized board are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. The candidates due to appear for the final qualifying examination in 2014 may also apply, provided the results will be available on or before 21st July 2014 (date of First Counselling).
The candidates must have secured at least 50% marks for General and OBC and 40% for SC/ST and Physically Handicapped Categories in the qualifying examination.
Candidates from NEH States and their selection procedure : Five NEH states nominated candidates shall be admitted over and above the seats with the approval of competent authority.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit for candidates shall be 15 years as on 31 July 2014 and the maximum age limit shall be 21 years.

To obtain Application by post, do so between 10 April 2014 to 09 May 2014 by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.600/- drawn at any nationalized bank in favour of “ERS of NDRI” payable at Kalyani along with a request stating the following information:
1. Name of the Candidate (in capital letters)
2. Full Postal Address with PIN code and Contact Number
3. Details of Demand Draft
