About:
NSIT was established in 1983 as Delhi Institute of Technology (renamed as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in 1997) with an objective of meeting growing demand for manpower in the emerging areas of Engineering and Technology. It is an autonomous institute and fully funded by the Government of NCT of Delhi. NSIT is Affiliated to the University of Delhi for UG, PG & Ph.D. programs. Over 750 Research papers has been published in international journals and several hundred presented in National/International onferences by the faculty members of NSIT. NSIT emphasises on innovative R&D and education programs, consultancy, product development and technology transfer.

NSIT offers full time B.E. programme in the following branches:

- Instrumentation and Control Engineering
- Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering

- Bio-Technology
Eligibility:
A candidate passing any of the following examinations from a recognized School/College/Institute located within the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi or outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi only and securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics shall be eligible for admission to the First Semester of Bachelor of Technology Course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately:
- Senior School Certificate Examination (12-Year Course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) New Delhi.
- Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year Course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
- Bachelor of Science (General) or Bachelor of Science (Hons.) examination of a recognized university with combination of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
- Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E.
Note: Out of total seats 85% seats are reserved for Delhi region candidates and 15% for Outside Delhi region candidates.

Admission in NSIT will be strictly based on All India Rank in JEE - (Main).
