New Booklet for Applicants Issued by IGNOU

    On Thursday, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released a new booklet for applicants that contains frequently asked questions (FAQ). It is designed to clear all doubts  over its admission processes and the courses offered.

    The booklet has 10 chapters in total. The first eight chapters of the booklet comprise of the details to deal with the issues like practical examination, registration process, assignment and more. While chapter nine consists answer to all the queries regarding the courses offered by the varsity. Chapter 10 has all the information regarding the open distance learning system of IGNOU.


    "It was experienced that learners, including prospective applicants, alumni, teachers, guardians and other stakeholders, had many doubts related to the norms and procedures, rules and regulations followed in the University," IGNOU said in a statement.

    "This booklet is going to offer a useful set of information and work as a reference material for all the part-time and full-time functionaries of IGNOU. It encloses queries sent by learners and varsity functionaries from all over the country, along with the answers," it said.

    Under the "Student Zone" tab present on the home page of the University’s website www.ignou.ac.in, the FAQ e-book is uploaded.

    IGNOU, World’s largest University system along with international and pan-India reach. It has a plethora of academic courses and allows flexible entry qualification at affordable cost.
