National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) is an autonomous organization, set up as an apex world class institute of global standards in Food Science & Technology under the aegis of Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI), Government of India (GOI). NIFTEM issued notification inviting applications for filling up 12 Non - Faculty Positions on direct recruitment/ deputation basis. 1. Post Name: Deputy General Manager

No of Posts: 1 post

Pay Scale: PB-3 + Grade pay Rs.7600

Age Limit: 45 years

Essential Qualifications: PG Degree in Management (HR/ Entrepreneurship Development/ Project Management).

Experience: At least 12 years experience in a large commercial enterprise of repute/ State/ Central Government Organization/ PSUs/ University/ Educational Institute.

2. Post Name: Assistant General Manager

No of Posts: 1 post

Pay Scale: PB-3 + Grade Pay Rs.5400

Age Limit: 35 years

Essential Qualifications: PG Degree in Management (HR/ Entrepreneurship Development/ Project Management).

Experience: At least 6 years relevant experience in a large commercial enterprise of repute/State/Central Government Organization/ PSUs / University/ Educational Institute

3. Post Name: Assistant Registrar

Essential Qualifications: Masters Degree or its equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 10 years experience of which 5 years should be in handling personnel & IR/HR functions of a large Government organization/ PSU/ University/ Education & Research Institute.

4. Post Name: Private Secretary

Pay Scale: PB-2 + Grade Pay Rs.4600

Age Limit: 30 years

Essential Qualifications & Experience: Graduate with at least 5 years of experience as PA/PS in Government, reputed University, Technical/Autonomous Institutions with proficiency in English, Stenography with minimum speed of 100 wpm, Computer knowledge with typing speed of 40 wpm, Office Applications and Secretarial Practices like interdepartmental/ Govt. Correspondence, maintenance of daily dairy, appointments, meetings.

Desirable: PG Degree in Management or equivalent with experience in Office Management, PR / Public Management.

6. Post Name: Sr. Library Information Officer

Essential Qualifications: M.Lib. Sc./ MLIS or equivalent Or Master’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or any other discipline with Computer science at Graduate / PG level or 6 months computer course.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a reputed library with knowledge of Library Automation/ Digital Library and application of Open source software in Library science.

7. Post Name: Network Administrator

Age Limit: 30 years

Essential Qualifications: B.E./ B.Tech (Telecommunications/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ IT) or equivalent with CCNA Certification. CCSP security Certification would be an added advantage.

Experience: Post qualification experience of minimum 5 years  in designing/Implementing/Configuring and Trouble shooting of large LAN/ WAN network; Installation/Configuration/Troubleshooting L2 & L3 devices like router, switch (cisco, Extreme, and Juniper etc.) and network, wireless security Devices (Firewall, UTM, Wireless controller etc.) routing, switching & Security protocols, MPLS, VLAN, Frame Relay, remote networks, VoIP, ISDN, PRI & BRI, Load Balancing, VPN, ACL, NAT, IP Phone, Lease line, Wi-Max Subnetting etc; Experience of Network topology, policies, procedure planning, documentation & reporting of the work.

8. Post Name: System Administrator

Pay Scale: PB – 2 + Grade Pay Rs.4200

Age Limit: 30 years

Essential Qualifications: B.E./ B.Tech (Telecommunications/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ IT) or equivalent with MCSE/ A 2003/8m NCDBA Certification.  

Experience: Minimum experience of 5 yrs in designing/ implementing, monitoring and troubleshooting of large network: experience of administrating & maintenance of active directory, DC, MS Exchange, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Antivirus, Virtualization Linux, storage servers (SAN/NAS), ERP, LDAP, message server, share point, NFS, webserver etc; experience of Network topology, policies, procedure planning, documentation & reporting of the work; experience of Web Technologies would be an added advantage.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.
