National Law University, Delhi & CIRC have joined hands together to offer two courses in ‘Competition Policy and Law’ – one being a certificate course
National Law University, Delhi & CIRC have joined hands together to offer two courses in ‘Competition Policy and Law’ – one being a certificate course, which is a fundamental course of six months and another an advanced diploma course of 1 year duration.
The courses were announced after noting the imposition of Competition Law and its persistent presence on the business functions and various other sectors leading to creation of a high demand for competition compliance.
Both Certificate and Diploma course on Competition Policy and Law (CPL) for the new 2014 academic session have 15 April 2014 as last date for submitting Application.
The Course curriculum is divided into modules and is designed to impart latest knowledge and skills related to competition policy and law. The course may lead to opening of new employment opportunities in competition authorities, regulatory bodies, law firms, businesses, research bodies, and the like.
The eligibility to apply to both diploma and certificate course demands applicant to be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. The students in their final year of graduation or third year students or above of the five-year law and management integrated programme are also allowed to apply.
Keeping in mind the schedule of working professionals the classes will be conducted in the evening sessions on weekends.
CIRC here is functioning as a body of experts, who will provide advice and ideas on specific political or economic problems as well as research-based capacity building in the areas of competition policy and law.
