Nuclear Power Corporation of India Notified Recruitment for Stipendiary Trainees 2013

    Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) invited applications for recruitment to the post of Stipendiary Trainees [Scientific Assistant -B (Group-B)] and Stipendiary Trainees

    [Technician-B (Group-C)]. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 25 January 2014. NPCIL was created in September 1987 as public limited company under the Companies Act 1956, "with the objective of undertaking the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the atomic power stations for generation of electricity in pursuance of the schemes and programmes of the Government of India under the provision of the Atomic Energy Act 1962."

    1.    Scientific Assistant -B (Group-B)]

    • Mechanical Engineering: 6 posts
    • Physics: 6 posts

    2.    Technician-B (Group-C)

    • Plant Operator: 6 posts
    • Electrician: 2 posts
    • Electronic Mechanic: 2 posts
    • Instrument Mechanic: 2 posts
    • Fitter: 14 posts

    Total Number of Vacancies: 38

    Age Limit

    • Scientific Assistant -B (Group-B)]: Candidate age should be between 18-25 years as on 1 November 2013.
    • Technician-B (Group-C): Candidate age should be between 18-24 years as on 1 November 2013.

    Educational Qualification

    • Mechanical Engineering: Three years Diploma or Licentiate with minimum 60% marks in the last two years in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the GOI, Ministry of HRD.
    • Physics: B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 60% marks.
    • Plant Operator: 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Maths with minimum 50% marks and should have had English as one of the Subjects atleast at SSC level Examination.
    • Electrician: 10th with minimum 50% marks in Science & Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in the relevant fields and should have had English as one of the Subjects atleast at SSC level Examination.
    • Electronic Mechanic: 10th with minimum 50% marks in Science & Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in the relevant fields and should have had English as one of the Subjects atleast at SSC level Examination.
    • Instrument Mechanic: 10th with minimum 50% marks in Science & Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in the relevant fields and should have had English as one of the Subjects atleast at SSC level Examination.
    • Fitter: 10th with minimum 50% marks in Science & Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in the relevant fields and should have had English as one of the Subjects atleast at SSC level Examination.

    Pay Scale

    • Scientific Assistant -B (Group-B)]: Rs.9300/- per month consolidated
    • Technician-B (Group-C): Rs.6200/- per month consolidated for 1st year and Rs.7200/- per month consolidated for 2nd year.

    Selection Process

    The Person will be selected only on the basis of written test & Interview.
