In this article, we have shared the detailed Exam Pattern and Syllabus of NVS Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) 2019 Written Exam and Interview Process. NVS has invited online applications for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) for 218 vacancies.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has invited online applications for recruitment to the posts of Principal, Assistant Commissioner (Administration), PGTs, Assistant & Computer Operator for the year 2019. There are total 218 vacancies for Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) out of total 251 vacancies. NVS is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education & Literacy, Govt. of India. It has 08 Regional Offices at Bhopal, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Pune & Shillong and more than 630 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) functional all over India except in the State of Tamil Nadu. JNVs are co-educational, fully residential schools up to Senior Secondary level and are located mainly in rural areas.

The written test will consist of one paper for PGTs separately including Objective type multiple choice questions as under:

Note:
- The difficulty level of the question papers for PGTs will be of Post Graduation standard.
- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview put together.
- The Written Examination for the recruitment to the above mentioned posts is likely to be held at following 42 cities.

Interview and Document Verification
Based on the performance in written examination and also keeping in view the number of vacancies, the candidates will be called for interview in the ratio as decided by Samiti. The list of candidates called for Interview will be displayed in Samiti's website. The NVS will take up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidates have qualified for interview. Final selection will based on the candidates performance in written examination and interview put together. The Samiti reserves the right to decide the cut off marks in written examination and interview separately. However, in the case of Assistant and Computer Operator, the selection to the post will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written examination only.
