Odisha Forestry Sector Development Project notifies 27 vacancies for DMU Support Team members

    Deputy Project Director (Administration), Odisha Forestry Sector Development Project issued notification inviting applications for filling up 27 posts of DMU Support Team members with 3 Departments in the Divisional Management Units (DMU) located with various project divisions on Contractual engagement basis. Interested candidates should send their applications till 31 December 2013.

    1. Name of the Post: DMU Support Team – Natural Resource Management Specialist

    No of Posts: 13 posts

    Job Location:  At the DMU headquarters in any of the DMUs under the project. Candidate will be required to make a minimum of 15 days tour to the project areas in the DMU.

    Type of recruitment: Contractual

    Remuneration: Rs. 30000 per month (Consolidated)

    Eligibility Criterion:

    Age limit: 45 years (as on 1 December 2013)

    Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate in Agriculture / Agriculture Engineering / Post Graduate in Forestry

    Experience required: More than 5 years experience in the managerial capacity in Forestry projects, Natural Resource Management projects, Watershed / Livelihoods projects.

    Skills Required: Superior interpersonal skills; Sound technical knowledge; Analytical and methodical approach; Knowledge of computer applications; Excellent presentation skills and drafting ability

    2. Name of the Post: DMU Support Team – Finance Officer

    No of Posts: 9 posts

    Job Location:  At the DMU headquarters in any of the DMUs under the project. Candidate will be required to make a minimum of 15 days tour to the project areas in the DMU.

    Type of recruitment: Contractual

    Remuneration: Rs. 30000 per month (Consolidated)

    Eligibility Criterion:

    Age limit: 45 years (as on 1 December 2013)

    Essential Qualifications: CA / ICWA / M.Com. Inter (CA) / Inter (ICWA) / M.Com

    Experience required: More than 5 years experience of working with Corporations / Co-operatives / Societies, Externally Aided Projects or Government agencies.

    Skills Required: Superior interpersonal skills; Sound technical knowledge; Analytical and methodical approach; Knowledge of computer applications; Excellent presentation skills and drafting ability

    3. Name of the Post: DMU Support Team – Community Development Specialist

    No of Posts: 5 posts

    Job Location:  At the DMU headquarters in any of the DMUs under the project. Candidate will be required to make a minimum of 15 days tour to the project areas in the DMU.

    Type of recruitment: Contractual

    Remuneration: Rs. 30000 per month (Consolidated)

    Eligibility Criterion:

    Age limit: 45 years (as on 1 December 2013)

    Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate in Rural Management/ Post Graduate in MSW / Sociology / Anthropology / Rural Development

    Experience required: More than 5 years experience in the managerial capacity in similar jobs in Livelihoods projects along with experience of social mobilization, gender and livelihoods issues; Experience as a trainer and facilitator working closely with NGOs, SHGs and / or User Groups. Experience in managing and coordinating consultant’s inputs in donor funded livelihoods based projects is desirable.

    Skills Required: Superior interpersonal skills; Sound technical knowledge; Analytical and methodical approach; Knowledge of computer applications; Advice & support field staffs on Micro enterprise and livelihoods issues; Excellent presentation skills and drafting ability

    Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.

    All the applications will be scrutinized and candidates found eligible will be short-listed for the Interview.

    Only shortlisted candidates will be called to appear for the Interview.
