Punjab Medical Education Department 2020 Recruitment: Punjab's Department of Medical Education and Research is going to conduct recruitment exam for over 4000 vacancies for health staff including technicians, staff nurses, pharmacists, ophthalmic officers, medical/psychiatric social workers, operation theatre assistants etc.
On 5 July, the department has announced that a recruitment examination will be conducted soon to recruit aforesaid vacancies in medical & paramedical department.
Due to Pandemic COVID-19, the department has handed over the responsibility to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot of conducting recruitment exam for medical and paramedical staff as per the latest announcement.
The date of the recruitment exam has already been announced at the official website of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot according to the notice. However, the dates are yet not published on the official website. So, all candidates are advised to keep their eyes on the official website of BFUHS for latest updates.
The government official asked the vice-chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences to conduct recruitment exam for the aforesaid posts as earliest. The state’s higher education department has already mentioned in its letter that the instructions for not conducting exams due to COVID-19 are not applicable to the medical department.
