Eligibility Criteria for Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) and Allied Services (RTS) combined competitive examination 2012
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2013): Minimum 25 years; Maximum 45 years
Application Fee: Application fee for unreserved category candidates is Rs 250. For Rajasthan domicile candidates, fee for OBC category (creamy layer) candidates in Rs 150, and fee for SC/ ST candidates is Rs 50.
The candidates can pay their examination fees only through CSC. Additional Rs 40 will be charged for online application submission kiosk.
Selection Procedure: The Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) and Allied Services (RTS) combined competitive examination 2012 shall be conducted by Recruiting Authority in two stages ie Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. The competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Civil Judge shall consist of the following.
- Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination will be Objective in nature and is only qualifying type. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidate who are declared qualified for admission to the main examination will not be counted for determining their final result. it will consist of 2 papers viz.,
a) Paper I (Compulsory): General Knowledge & General Science
b) Paper II (optional): Candidates can choose from 30 varied streams mentioned in the notification - Main Examination: The main examination will consist of the following papers
Compulsory Papers
a) Paper I: General Knowledge & General Science (100 marks)
b) Paper II: General Knowledge of Rajasthan, Rajasthani Society, Art & Culture (100 marks)
c) Paper III: General Hindi (200 marks)
d) Paper IV: General English (100 marks)
Optional Papers
e) Paper V, Paper VI, Paper VII, and Paper VIII: Any two subjects to be opted by a candidate from the list of optional subjects mentioned in the notification. Each subject will have two papers (200 Maximum Marks for each paper)
