The written examination for RRB ALP & Technician 2018 will be conducted on 09 August 2018 across the nation. As per the reports, a total of around 47.56 lakh candidates have applied for the exam.
The exam pattern consists of 4 sections- Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science. The examination will comprise of 75 questions and the time duration will be one hour. The mark scheme will be 20 questions in Maths section, 25 in General Intelligence and Reasoning, 20 in General Science, and 10 questions in the General Awareness and Current Affairs section.

- Candidates have to visit the official site of Indian Railways.
- Click on the link of News & Recruitment provided on the top panel of the site.
- Click on Railway Recruitment Board available in the News & Recruitment section.
- Check your respective regions and click on it.
- The second outbox will have all the updated links of RRB ALP & Technician Recruitment 2018.
- Click on the Admit card link.
- You will have to enter roll number, date of birth and password to receive the admit card.
- Now, to get your admit card click on submit button.
- Download the admit card and take a print out of it for further reference.

RRB ALP & Technician Admit Card 2018 - Exam Pattern
The First Stage CBT (Computer-Based Test) will be conducted for 75 marks and the time duration will be 60 minutes. Questions will be asked from General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning, and General Science.
The Second Stage CBT (Computer-Based Test) will be conducted for 120 marks, 120 questions will be asked and the time duration will be 2 hours 30 minutes. Each question will carry 1 mark.
The test will be carried out in two parts, part A, and part B.
Time duration of Part A will be 90 minutes and questions will be asked from Mathematics, General Intelligence and reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, And General Awareness on Current Affairs. 25 questions will be asked of each subject.
Time duration of Part B will be 60 minutes and the questions will be selected from the following disciplines:

Electrician / Instrument Mechanic / Wireman / Winder (Armature) / Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics.
Electronics & Combination of Electronics Engineering
