Railway Recruitment Boards, Ministry of Railways, Government of India announced the schedule of common written examination for all the categories (Assistant Loco Pilot & Technicians) of CEN No.01/2014.
The examinations are scheduled to be held between 15 June 2014 and 20 July 2014 by the concerned RRBs in two shifts – Ist (morning) shift between 1100 hours and 1230 hours and IInd (afternoon) shift between 1500 hours and 1630 hours.
The 16 RRBs that would conduct the exam on 15 June 2014 – in the two shifts - are Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Jammu-Srinagar, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Ranchi and Secunderabad.
On 29 June 2014, the exam would be conducted at 10 RRBs -- Ajmer, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Jammu-Srinagar, Mumbai, Ranchi and Secunderabad, in morning shift only. The 10 RRBs of Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Malda, Mumbai, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Siliguri and Trivandrum would conduct the exam on 13 July 2014, in morning shift only.
In the 6 RRBs of Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata and Secunderabad, the exam would be conducted on 20 July 2014– in the two shifts.
The call letters indicating time and venue of examination for the written examination for all the notified categories of CEN No.01/2014 have been sent to the provisionally eligible candidates at their correspondence address. Provisionally eligible candidates who do not receive their call letters or who have been issued call letters with incorrect/ wrong information should contact the concerned RRBs office personally for issue of duplicate call letters.
The Duplicates call letters for the 15 June exam would be issued on 12, 13 and 14 June 2014; for the 29 June exam would be issued on 26, 27 and 28 June 2014; for the 13 July exam would be issued on 10, 11 and 12 July 2014; for the 20 July exam would be issued on 17, 18 and 19 July 2014. Some RRBs may offer the facility to download duplicate call letters from their website.
The Duplicates call letters would be issued between 1000 hours and 1700 hours only to those candidates whose names exist in master list of provisionally eligible candidates. Some RRBs may offer the facility to download duplicate call letters from their website.
Candidates should carry with them proof for having submitted the application along with two passport size photographs.
