A Walk in interview has been scheduled byOffice of Medical Superintendent, Safdarjang Hospital & V. M. M College. The Special Recruitment Drive by way of Walk-In-Interview for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates to the post of Senior Residents on regular basis in the various departments of this hospital will be held in the office of the M.S., Safdarjang Hospital & VMMC as per schedule and break up of vacancies as given below.Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the Post. The Post for a tenure of three years as per Government of India ‘s Residency Scheme. Safdarjung Hospital started as an American Army Base Hospital during the II World war. In 1947 it was made annexe to Irwin Hospital.

Eligibility Criteria:

The Candidate should possess Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (approved by MCI) in the concerned speciality after M.B.B.S. failing which MBBS with two years experience in a Govt. organization out of which one year in the concerned speciality.

•ELIGIBILITY FOR DENTAL SURGERY: The candidate should be MDS (recognized by DCI) failing which BDS with two years experience in a government organization. Other terms and conditions are same as in the case of other departments.
•ELIGIBILITY FOR ENDOCRINOLOGY: Desired qualification is MD/DNB in Medicine or Paediatrics.

Pay Scale

Rs. 15600-39100/- + 6600 (Grade Pay) + other allowances as admissible as per Govt. of India Rules

Age Limit 

•38 years (For SC/ST candidates)
•35 years (For OBC candidates)
•For PWD candidates- upper age-limit is relaxable as per Govt. of India rules.. 
Selection Procedure
The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test/trade test/ interviews, which might be conducted by the administration.
