SBI Clerk Exam 2013

    State Bank of India is likely to issue notification for recruitment of clerical cadre 2013. Earlier, the notification was published on 27 December 2011 for filling 2500 vacancies of clerk various states in India in Special Drive for SC/ST/OBC Pay Scale and 600 vacancies for General Category in various states in North-East of India. The written examination was conducted on 18 March 2012. The candidates successful in written examination had undergone personal interview and group discussion for final selection.

    The written test was Objective type comprising 5 sections, which are (i) General Awareness (ii) General English (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (iv) Reasoning Ability (v) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge. The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, were printed bilingual i.e., English & Hindi. There was negative marking of ¼ of total marks for every wrong answer. The selection of the candidates was entirely based on candidate’s performance in written examination and interview.
