IIM Kozhikode is scheduled to host the second Pan-IIM World Management Conference which is supported by the Ministry of Human Resources Development and jointly organized by the 13 IIMs in the Country from 05 November to 08 November 2014.

The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode which is presently ranked at the top five educational institutes in India, would be hosting this prestigious conference where almost 250 experts from various fields would take part. The theme of the conference is decided to be ‘Globalizing Indian Thought’

Last year, IIM made headlines with the entire cabinet of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy which took part in the brain storming session conducted by the faculty last year.

Along with the IIM professors, experts form Wharton Business School, ESCP Paris, policy makers and leaders from Indian industry would be present at the conference to enlighten the conference with their thoughts and ideas about the Indian management scenario and how it could leave a lasting impression in the global business. The world knows that IIM is capable of churning out best in class talent and thus provides future entrepreneurs and leaders who would carry the baton of global success worldwide.

According to Kulbhusan Balooni, director of IIM Kozhikode, “Collectively IIMs can emerge as a formidable force in exploring newer frontiers of management science. The west is increasingly interested today in decoding the phenomena in emerging markets.”
