The undergraduate and postgraduate course admissions will begin in the state of Haryana in all the government colleges from 5 June 2016 onwards. There will be only one roll number issued to students applying for these courses this year, as pointed by the Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma. The last date for taking admission in the colleges is 30 June 2016.
The full schedule of the admission process for the academic session 2016-17 has been updated in the official website of the board. The undergraduate and postgraduate candidates will have to apply online through the official website from 5 June to 30 June 2016. The roll numbers of the students getting admitted in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be generated automatically through the system. Those students, who have successfully deposited their fee in the registration process, will be only able to get their roll numbers.
The government colleges will allow the students to fill up the online form for free and the colleges will also approve five to ten local vendors or cyber cafes which will help students apply online for the courses at the lowest rate possible. The rate for filling up the application form will not exceed Rs. 50 per form. The candidates will get informed during the admission procedure about successful transactions through SMS as well. The principals of the colleges will be able to have Internet Lease line upto a limit of Rs. 1.5 lakh.
The colleges under the Haryana government will have to make sure that they paste their cut off marks and merit lists at all the notice boards of the colleges and upload them on the official website of the board. The students will have to submit the hard copy of their filled online application form with all the requisite documents at the college counter till 4 pm on 30 June 2016. The Principals of all the colleges will have to check and verify the subjects offered by the college and the combinations chosen by the students, number of seats in each course and the cut off percentages presently for the courses and fees structure for better administration.
