With growing demand for efficient professionals in the field to technology and innovation, many organizations are initiating specialized management courses. Quite a lot of universities are now offering niche courses in management so that they could prepare students who could be able to meet the requirement of organizations with diverse functions and responsibilities. To suffice specific market needs it becomes important to initiate niche courses in any of the growing market to provide job opportunities. In recent times the two new specializations, technology management and energy management has got prominence in the management students amidst the growing prospect of these two fields.
With increased consumption of commodities such as smartphones, computers and other technological consumer goods, technology has travelled a long path in the last decade and thus technology management has become one of the major niche specialization courses that many management institutes are offering. To maintain the demand of qualified management professional who would deal in the technological sector, universities are offering relatively newer courses such as MBA in Technology Management Innovation and Technology management. Due to the development of technology every aspect of commerce is getting affected and a certain change is befalling with constant innovations and trends in digital market.
These new management courses would prepare students to cope with the fast changing business models which are the aftereffect of developments in the field of information and communication technologies. Students would come to know about the skills required to handle things in the new world order of handheld computing devices and many hybrid devices which many of them would not have been aware of before.
