Spice Board to hold walk-in for Recruitment of Spices Extension Trainees

    Spices Board under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, issued notification for holding Walk-in interview for selecting ‘Spices Extension Trainees’ for training in the office of the Board located in 5 North-Eastern states --  Guwahati (Assam) / Shillong (Meghalaya) / Aizwal (Mizoram) / Dimapur (Nagaland) / Churachandpur (Manipur). Interested candidates should attend the walk-in interview along with necessary certificates on 6 March 2013.

    Date of Walk in interview:
    6 March 2013 (09:30 AM onwards)

    Vacancy Details:

    Post Name: Spices Extension Trainees for training in the office of the Board located in 5 North-Eastern states --  Guwahati (Assam) / Shillong (Meghalaya) / Aizwal (Mizoram) / Dimapur (Nagaland) / Churachandpur (Manipur).

    Educational Qualification: B.Sc. degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology / Microbiology with certificate in computer.

    (Those who have completed their Degree during the academic year not earlier than 2003 are eligible to apply.)

    Tenure: One year (extendable for one more year)

    Stipend: Rs.12000 per month
    (TA will be paid in case of travel to spices field)

    Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in walk-in interview.

    How to Appear for Walk-In Interview: Interested eligible candidates should reach the Board's Regional Office -- Spices Board, H.N.-46A, Namghar Path (opposite BSNL Office), Rukminimagar, Wireless, Dispur P.O., Guwahati – 781006  along with their updated resume, recent passport photograph, original and one set of attested copies of relevant certificates / documents / testimonials at 09:30 AM on 6 March 2013 for attending the walk-in.

    NOTE: those who were engaged as Outsourced Technical Assistant (OTA) in extension activity at Spices Board on Contract Basis are not eligible to apply.
