SSC has recently published a document containing the list of successful candidates who get deputation under Assistant Audit Officer, Junior Statistical Officer, Other than JSO & AAOs and all other posts for SSC CGL 2016. The SSC CGL 2016 results are declared on SSCs official website i.e. ssc.nic.in. This result was scheduled to be announced on 4thAugust, 2017. But somehow, It delayed and notified on 5thAugust, 2017.
How to check results

The list of successful candidates is prepared based on All India Merit list for each category post. This Merit list is prepared on the basis of marks attained by candidates in the written examinations and post preferences filled by the candidates during document verification process. As per the notification which clearly states that Preferences once provided is considered final.
The written examinations include Tier-1, 2 and 3. All candidates have to qualify in these exams to appear in Tier-4, which include Data Entry/ Skill Test and Computer proficiency test/ document verification process. All candidates have to present in the Tier-4 compulsorily and provide all original documents before the authority. After all these process, final merit list is prepared.
About the SSC
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.
This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
Staff Selection Commission has its headquarters located at New Delhi. At present it has seven Regional offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore. It also has two Sub- Regional offices at Raipur and Chandigarh.
