Staff Selection Commission has extended the last date of SSC CGL 2018 till 5 June 2018. All those who haven’t been applied for SSC CGL can apply before the last date. Candidates who wish to pay application fee through Offline Challan mode will be able to submit challan upto 7 June 2018 at the designated branches of SBI within the working hours of the Bank. It challan should be generated before 5 June 2018.
As per the SSC CGL 208 notification issued by the Staff Selection Commission, the upper age limited for the various Group B and Group C posts to be filled through this exam is from 27 years to 30 years. However, there is age relaxation in upper age limit as per the government norms.
Earlier, SSC CGL 2018 examination notification was released by the Staff Selection Commission as per it's rescheduled date. As per the notification, all eligible candidates can apply for the SSC CGL 2018 exam latest by 04 June 2018 till 05 PM through the official portal of the commission, i.e. ssc.nic.in.
As per the SSC CGL 2018 Exam notification, whole selection procedure comprises four stages, Tier I, Tier II, Tier III & Tier IV. The Tier I exam will start from 25 July 2018 and to continue till 20 August 2018. While the dates for next level examinations will be notified later.
Earlier, the SSC CGL 2018 exam notification was expected to be released on 5 May 2018. Staff Selection Commission has notified the date of SSC CGL Examination 2018 notification through a recent corrigendum released on 20th April, which states that the earlier dates for SSC CGL Examination 2018 notification have been extended. So, the SSC CGL Examination 2018 notification was finally scheduled be released on 5 May 2018, instead of earlier notified date of 24 April 2018.
Govt. Job aspirants with Graduation can apply for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2018, which is the common graduation level recruitment examination for govt. jobs. The upper age limit for SSC CGL 2018 is 30 years while the minimum age to appear the exam is 20 years. There will be age relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates beloging to reserved categories.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL Examination 2018
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Tier-I--Computer Based Examination will consist of 100 question with weightage of 2 marks each from the subjects of General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension., Whereas Tier-II--Computer Based Examination will test candidates on their knowledge of Quantitative Abilities, English Language & Comprehension, Statistics and General Studies (Finance and Economics).
In the Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper) candidates will be tested on their knowledge e of English /Hindi which will include writing of Essays/Precise/Letter/Applications etc.
Final Stage will test their Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/Document Verification.
