As per the latest notification released by Staff Selection Commission, the Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) is expected to be released soon this month. Every year Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts an open competitive Computer Based Examination for Combined Recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Posts. In 2018, the Staff Selection Commission is expected to release around 500 vacancies for Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) posts. However, SSC till now has not notified the exact number of vacancies (2018) for these posts.

The work timings of a Junior Hindi Translator depend upon the office timings of the respective department where the employee is posted.
