State Institute of Rural Development, Kerala invited applications from the eligible candidates for fill up the following posts of “Specialist in Capacity Building and Clerical Assistant cum Accountant” on Contract Basis for a period of one year. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 15 May 2014.

Specialist in Capacity Building: 02 (Two).[One post each for Sociology/ Social Works and Political Science/ Women Studies/ Rural Management].
Clerical Assistant cum Accountant: 01 (One).
Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria
- For Post 1
First class Post Graduate Degree in concerned discipline from a recognised university.
(i) The candidate should have a minimum of two years of training and research experience in the area of Local governance.
(ii) The candidate should have good knowledge of the planning processes in local governments.
(iii) Ph.D in relevant subject is desirable.
- For Post 2
B. Com degree awarded by a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
(i) Good knowledge in Clerical work.
(ii) Good knowledge in Computer.
(iii) Knowledge in Financial Management Software.
Age Limit & Relaxation
Age Limit for the candidate should be below 45 years for post 1 and 35 years as on the closing date of receipt of Applications.
Pay Scale/ Salary
Pay and Emoluments of Rs. 50,000/- (Consolidated) Per Month for Post 1 and Rs. 17,000/- (Consolidated) Per Month for Post 2.
