Government of India has presented a proposal to pass the legislation for bringing 'education tribunals' in power to sort out the service related matters associated to higher secondary school (HSS) teachers, informed Goa's Rajya sabha MP, Naik.
Naik added that a state education tribunal and national education tribunal both will be introduced to hear petitions of distressed teachers. He also told that no matters will be entertained by these tribunals unless all remedies under respective services rules are done in.
Naik proclaimed while speaking to students and teachers during the foundation stone laying event of computer laboratory block to be set up at the cost of Rs 26 lakhs for Mallikarjun College of arts and commerce, Delem, Canacona about the proposal.
Naik also a chairman of a parliamentary committee told that this proposal has been mulled to provide a legal remedy at earliest, to the teachers of higher secondary school since they have no proper system or method to take help from regarding their grievances. Till now they can only file the writ petition in the high courts.
