The TNPSC Group 4 Combined Civil Services Exam 2019 will be conducted on 1 September 2019 in a single shift to fill a total of 6491 vacancies in the State public services to the posts of Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistant (Non - Security), Junior Assistant (Security), Bill Collector (Grade-I), Field Surveyor, Draftsman, Typist, and Steno-Typist (Grade-III).

TNPSC Group-IV Selection Process
The TNPSC carries out the recruitment to Group-IV through Written Examination and Interview. Candidates need to qualify the Written Examination to appear for the Interview round. TNPSC Group-IV Exam Pattern 2019
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will conduct the written examination for the recruitment to the Combined Civil Services. The commission will set two types of question papers – one for English language and other for Tamil Language. A total of 200 questions (MCQ) will be asked in the examination from 3 sections - General Studies; Aptitude & Mental Ability Test; and General English/General Tamil. The questions in General Studies and Aptitude & Mental Ability Test will be set in both English and Tamil Languages. Minimum Qualifying Marks or Cut off Marks
Candidates need to score minimum 90 marks to qualify the TNPSC Group-4 2019 written examination. This minimum Cut off is fixed for candidates of all categories and communities.
