Application fee: An Application fee of Rs.100 has to be paid through an IPO / Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Tea Board” and payable at Coonoor.
[Candidates belonging to SC / ST are exempted from paying fee.]
Selection Procedure
Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in written test, skill test (if applicable) and Personal Interview.
Written Tests will be held at Coonoor, The Nilgiris and will have questions based on Agriculture / Tea cultivation for Development Officer and Basic Engineering / Tea manufacturing and for Factory Advisory Officer. Knowledge on Tea Act and its Regulatory Orders, FSSAI and Basics in Computer will also be tested for all the posts.
No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for appearing in the examination.
