Tea Board Notified Recruitment of 29 posts for North-Eastern India Offices 2013

    Tea Board, a statutory body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, invited applications for filling up 29 vacancies in various categories with its offices in North-Eastern India. Interested candidates can send their applications till 31 January 2013.

    Graduate from a UGC recognized University with knowledge of Microsoft Windows, MS-Office, Excel, Power Point, Internet E Mails etc.

    Age will be reckoned as on the last date for receiving the application.

    Posts carry All India Transfer Liability.

    Application fee: An Application fee of Rs.100 has to be paid through an IPO / Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Tea Board” and payable at Jorhat.

    [Candidates belonging to SC / ST are exempted from paying fee.]

    Selection Procedure

    Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in written test, skill test (if applicable) and Personal Interview.

    Written Tests will be held at Jorhat, Assam and will have questions based on Agriculture / Tea cultivation for Development Officer and Basic Engineering / Tea manufacturing and for Factory Advisory Officer. For other categories the questions would correspond to the required educational qualification and experience.

    Knowledge on various functions of the Tea Board, Tea Act and its Regulatory Orders, FSSAI and Basics in Computer will also be tested for all the posts.

    No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for appearing in the examination.

Post / Speed Post so as to reach the given address before the prescribed last date in a sealed cover superscribing ‘Name of the post applied for’.

    A candidate should submit only one application for one post.

    One envelope should contain one application of one applicant only.
